Want to be a Fashion Visionary? Then join us!

"Picture It" is a live fashion photoshoot demonstration taught by fashion stylist & model Ni'ma Ford, followed by an interactive workshop leading young artist to visualize and create their own fashion photography stories.

Details

Fashion is a demonstration of style, which is an extension of identity. The use of fashion editorial photography is an exercise in expression and storytelling. For young artists, an introduction to the process and jobs that it takes to create a fashion editorial campaign can be very influential and inspiring.

There are many potential careers within creative industries that can be made available through the "Picture It" programming. Young artist will gain hands-on experience working as a learning collaborative where they will envision, plan, execute, and have their own fashion editorial works published.

By the end of the workshop participants will have their final work published online while also having learned:

  • Art / Creative Direction
  • Fashion Photography
  • Fashion Styling
  • Set Design/Prop Styling

All students images were published and turned into a fashion magazine
